Tompik.com EXPOSED: Is This Discount Clothing Store Legit or a Scam?

By Leelian

Tompik.com sells clothing at prices that make the store look tempting, with shirts, trousers and other fashion items filling its catalogue. But there’s a problem with trusting a shop simply because it has attractive product photos and a working checkout. Tompik is a very new website, its storefront runs on infrastructure associated with other questionable shops, and its return policy puts some fairly tight conditions on customers.

A New Clothing Store With a Lot Already in Place

Tompik.com presents itself as a complete fashion retailer, with sections for tops, hoodies, bottoms, swimwear and accessories. Its homepage features products such as knitted shirts, linen-blend trousers and casual tops, generally priced around $25 to $40. The catalogue looks reasonably developed, but the website itself has almost no history behind it. The domain was registered in November 2026, which makes it difficult to establish whether Tompik has a genuine track record of fulfilling orders or handling customer complaints. A new store isn’t automatically fraudulent, but a fully stocked catalogue appearing on such a recently registered domain deserves more scrutiny.

The Store Has a Name Behind It, But That Isn’t the Whole Story

Tompik’s terms identify Shenzhen Runcao Trading Co., Ltd. as the legal business, with a registered address in Shenzhen, China, and a company registration number. That’s more information than some questionable online shops provide, so it shouldn’t be ignored. However, a company name and registration number do not establish that the retailer is reliable, that its products match the photographs or that customers will receive satisfactory support. The website also provides a Chinese telephone number and an email address using the Tompik domain. What is still missing is an independent customer history that would show how this business actually handles orders.

The Storefront Runs on Shared Infrastructure

There’s another detail worth paying attention to. Tompik’s website loads important storefront resources and product images from the ojtlnsa.com domain rather than keeping everything on Tompik itself. That infrastructure has been associated with a wider collection of near-identical online shops, making the connection more concerning than an ordinary choice of website hosting. It doesn’t independently prove that every shop using the platform is fraudulent, but it raises questions about how Tompik was built and whether it belongs to a larger operation rather than an established fashion retailer with its own shopping infrastructure.

The Return Policy Gives Buyers Less Room Than They Might Expect

Tompik’s return policy sounds friendly in its opening paragraph, but the actual conditions are more restrictive. Customers who simply change their minds have to start the return within seven days of delivery. Damaged, incorrect or incomplete orders have a longer 30-day reporting window. The policy also says discounted or final-sale products may not qualify for returns, and customers generally pay the return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect. There’s another inconvenience: you cannot simply send an unwanted item back to the address printed on the parcel. You must contact support, wait for return authorisation and use the address provided in its response. Until that address is supplied, you don’t really know where a return will have to go or how much it might cost.

Delivery Is Not Quite as Quick as a Casual Shopper Might Expect

The shipping policy gives a processing time of one to three business days, followed by standard delivery estimated at seven to 20 business days. That means the total wait can extend beyond the delivery estimate people might assume when browsing a normal clothing shop. Tompik also says it ships internationally and that customers are responsible for applicable customs duties and taxes. For international buyers, those extra charges can make an inexpensive order considerably less attractive. The website identifies a Chinese company as its operator, but the published shipping policy does not clearly identify the dispatch warehouse for each order. I wouldn’t assume every parcel follows the same route without seeing actual tracking information.

A Pattern I Keep Seeing With Unfamiliar Fashion Stores

Tompik’s combination of a new domain, attractive clothing listings and uncertain shopping history is worth comparing with other unfamiliar fashion retailers we’ve examined. A polished catalogue doesn’t tell you much about the business fulfilling the order or how easy it will be to get your money back. We looked at similar questions in our EllaMaeShop.shop review, where the store’s presentation also needed to be considered alongside the details behind the business. These are the checks I would make before trusting any unfamiliar clothing website with a payment.

What I’d Check Before Ordering From Tompik

A few things are worth checking before entering your payment details:

  • Look for independent customer experiences. Don’t rely only on product ratings displayed on Tompik itself. Search the exact domain name and look for buyer photos, delivery experiences and refund complaints.
  • Check the return destination first. Tompik only provides the return address after you contact customer support. Ask where unwanted items must be sent before placing an order.
  • Read the product’s sale conditions. Discounted and final-sale items may not qualify for ordinary returns, so check the specific listing rather than assuming every item has the same protection.
  • Compare the photographs. Use reverse image search to see whether the same clothing images appear on established retailers or other unfamiliar stores.
  • Check the final checkout amount. Shipping, customs charges and currency conversion can change the real cost of an order.
  • Use a payment method with buyer protection. Avoid irreversible payment methods when buying from a retailer with no established reputation.

Already Ordered From Tompik.com?

If you’ve already placed an order, keep the confirmation email, payment record and screenshots of the product listing. If the item arrives damaged, incorrect or substantially different from what you ordered, photograph it and contact Tompik in writing within the policy’s stated 30-day reporting period. For an ordinary change-of-mind return, the policy gives you only seven days from delivery to start the process. Don’t send anything back before receiving written return instructions, and check with your payment provider before paying expensive international return postage. If the store stops responding or refuses to resolve a genuine problem, contact your card issuer or payment provider about your dispute options before their deadlines pass.

The Bottom Line

Tompik.com has some information that can be checked, including a named Chinese company and published shopping policies. But that doesn’t outweigh the concerns raised by its extremely recent domain registration and its connection to shared storefront infrastructure associated with questionable online shops. The return policy also leaves buyers with a short window for ordinary returns and potentially expensive postage. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from Tompik.com at this stage. There isn’t enough of an established track record to justify taking the risk, especially when similar clothing can be found through retailers with clearer buyer protection and a history customers can actually assess.
