I Used Something Nice Zero Pro for 3 Weeks – Here’s My Honest Review
I literally cannot say enough good things about Something Nice Zero Pro Toothpaste. I’ve been using it for three weeks, and I’m honestly surprised by how much I love it. My teeth feel cleaner than ever, I hardly wake up with morning breath anymore, and there’s something about the smooth, polished feeling it leaves behind that I haven’t experienced with ordinary toothpaste. But what really got me interested in this product was its BioFuse Oil Matrix. The Bentist may have finally come up with something genuinely different in a market where toothpaste brands seem content to keep recycling the same old formulas. I know that sounds like a big statement, but after using Zero Pro for three weeks, I’m beginning to understand why he is so excited about it.

What Makes Something Nice Zero Pro Different
Something Nice Zero Pro was created by Dr. Ben Winters, popularly known as The Bentist, and it’s built around an idea that goes beyond simply adding another whitening ingredient or changing the flavour of toothpaste. Its main selling point is the BioFuse Oil Matrix, a blend of linseed seed oil and rosehip seed oil that the brand says is designed to target harmful oral bacteria while being more selective about the bacteria it affects. The formula also contains 10% nano-hydroxyapatite, which is used in oral-care products to support tooth enamel, as well as xylitol. It’s fluoride-free and doesn’t contain SLS, either. I find the oil matrix particularly interesting because it feels like a different approach to formulating toothpaste, rather than another variation of the products we’ve had for years. Of course, the ingredient list and the company’s claims don’t automatically prove how well every part of the formula works, but the concept was enough to make me curious, and my experience so far has been very encouraging.
My Experience After 3 Weeks of Using Zero Pro
The difference I’ve noticed is what has made me such a fan of this toothpaste. My teeth feel as though I’ve just come back from the dentist after a proper cleaning, and that smooth, polished feeling stays with me throughout the day. I also love that there’s no gritty texture when brushing. Another pleasant surprise is how little morning breath I’ve had since I started using it. There’s something else I’ve noticed that I didn’t expect: I had a root canal a few years ago, and every now and then I used to get an unpleasant taste around that tooth, particularly when sucking my teeth. It wasn’t constant, but it had a rather unpleasant, almost decay-like taste. Since switching to Zero Pro, I haven’t noticed it anymore. I can’t say exactly why that changed, but I know what I was experiencing before, and I know I haven’t been experiencing it lately. I also don’t feel that I need a mouthful of foam to believe my teeth are getting clean. Zero Pro doesn’t foam like many conventional toothpastes because it doesn’t contain SLS, but that hasn’t bothered me at all. If anything, the overall brushing experience has been one of my favourite things about it.
Is Something Nice Zero Pro Toothpaste Worth the Price?
This is probably the biggest drawback for anyone considering buying it. Zero Pro is not cheap. A 4 oz tube is listed at $45, with a subscription option that brings the price down by 20%. That’s a lot more than I’d normally expect to spend on toothpaste, and I understand why some people might hesitate. However, the creator has explained that developing and manufacturing this particular formula is expensive, and I can appreciate that there is more going into it than a basic toothpaste formula. Personally, I’m happy to pay for it because I’ve enjoyed the results so much that I don’t see myself returning to ordinary toothpaste. If buying it regularly is outside your budget, you might consider using it for one brushing session a day and your usual toothpaste for the other. That’s just an idea for making the tube last longer, though, not a guarantee that you’ll get the same experience.
Is Something Nice Zero Pro Better Than Regular Toothpaste?
For my personal experience, I prefer Zero Pro. My teeth feel exceptionally clean after brushing, I like the smooth finish, and I’ve noticed changes that I hadn’t experienced with my previous toothpaste. I also appreciate the thinking behind the BioFuse Oil Matrix and the use of nano-hydroxyapatite. That said, I wouldn’t claim that Zero Pro has proved ordinary toothpaste unnecessary for everyone. Its fluoride-free formula is an important consideration because fluoride toothpaste remains widely recommended by dental professionals for cavity prevention. Nano-hydroxyapatite is an interesting alternative ingredient, but that doesn’t mean this particular product has been proven to offer exactly the same protection as fluoride toothpaste. Anyone with a history of cavities or particular dental concerns should consider their dentist’s advice before making a complete switch. I’m sharing what I’ve experienced, not claiming that three weeks of use establishes long-term protection against tooth decay.
Conclusion
I really hope Something Nice succeeds because I think the Bentist is onto something. I’ve used Zero Pro for three weeks, and I’m impressed enough that I don’t want to go back to the toothpaste I was using before. The price is high, and I understand that it won’t fit everyone’s budget, but I’m personally willing to keep paying for it. I also hope the bigger toothpaste brands don’t simply wait for this kind of innovation to catch on before rushing out their own versions. For now, I’m enjoying my Zero Pro, and I have no complaints about the experience so far.
